Question: Poor Radio Reception on 325i

I get poor radio reception in my (new to me) 2002 325i. Is there any way to improve the antenna ??? where IS the antenna?

I don't know what year BMW switched, but my 1999 323i radio antenna was embedded in the rear window glass similar to, but not the defrosting elements. Poor reception may due to corroded or dirty contacts caused by humidity and moisture. Search the internet to determine the location of those contacts which may be accessible behind a covering in the trunk.

Hello there.

The FM and AM antennae are in the rear glass. If you pull the interior corner covers off, you can check the
connections. Also, check the coaxial connection in the back of the radio itself.

And so BMW cautiously but assertiv ...
