Question: Faulty oil pressure gauge?
I test drove a 96 Dakota 2.5 4 cylinder. Ran great, engine was quite and responsive. Temp was normal but oil gauge did not move from zero until I tapped on it. It then dropped slowly back to zero. There are no engine warning lights on. Are these trucks Known for malfunctioning gauges? Truck only has 59,000 miles and is in very good condition.
